The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, revealed that more than 3,000 companies and institutions have benefited from the Chamber's electronic services, during the past few days, and indicated the continuity of receiving the main news services center for companies and institutions directly, after taking all precautionary and preventive measures, Pointing to the Chamber’s keenness to continue the business and provide all kinds of services according to an evolving and ideal work environment that takes into consideration the facilitation of the business sector.
Asharqia Chamber had suspended attendance to its headquarters for 16 days, in line with the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the country regarding the prevention and limitation of the spread of the Coronavirus emerging (COVID-19).
Al-Khalidi noted that the Chamber continues to provide its services remotely to subscribers through its electronic portal, in order to facilitate the business sector in carrying out their commercial transactions in light of these emergency circumstances, noting that the Chamber attaches great importance to developing the quality of its services provided to its subscribers, and was able to achieve its strategic goals with related to electronic development and remote services provision, by launching the electronic portal, which allowed its customers to complete their work easily and conveniently.
Al-Khaldi emphasized that since the suspension of the attendance to its headquarters, it is practicing successfully providing remote services to all its subscribers, and it also allows them to complete their transactions directly in the news service center taking into account all precautionary measures, noting that the chamber had been available with the beginning of the current year for all It intends about 38 electronic services that can be completed remotely without attending the headquarters and branches of the Chamber in the eastern region, in order to facilitate the completion of operations in full flow and clear transparency.
Al-Khaldi said that since the outbreak - the Corona Virus Innovative (COVID-19) - the country has taken a number of exceptional measures unprecedented to limit its spread in the Kingdom, which has made it a model in applying the highest levels of preparedness, requiring its procedures and precautionary steps in many countries of the world, And that the Chamber is on the same path in committing to all the precautionary measures and measures approved by the state in order to limit the spread of the Coronavirus and continues to provide its services remotely from subscriptions, certifications, commercial services, and others with great success.
